Software firm CPL rolls out factoring app

CPL Software, whose products are said to be used in about 80 per cent of privately factored properties in Scotland, has launched its first mobile app to connect owners directly with property managers.

The firm is also rolling out a training centre for its software tools in its new Glasgow city centre headquarters.

Brian Welsh, founder and managing director, said: “Our new app will make information even more accessible both for factors and their clients. It will improve communication and give owners a clear picture of the work being completed.”

CPL, set up in 2010, employs ten people and Welsh said the move to a new office “will give us the space to expand our team and capitalise on new business opportunities”.

He added: “Glasgow is home to a large proportion of Scotland’s property managers and we do a lot a business here so it made sense to open our new head office in the city.”
