SMS lands two more contracts

GAS infrastructure specialist Smart Metering Systems (SMS) yesterday revealed it has won a further two contracts from utility companies, taking its total to a dozen.

The Glasgow-based firm said these suppliers represented more than 80 per cent of the UK’s industrial and commercial market and more than 30 per cent of the domestic market.

Shares in Aim-quoted SMS edged up 0.5p to 96p.
