Skyscanner aims higher in Asia

Skyscanner, the Edinburgh-based flight comparison website, is seeking to capitalise on rapid growth at its Singapore office with a new role of general manager.

The company has hired Andy Sleigh to oversee its Asia-Pacific operations, which saw traffic growth of more than 400 per cent last year.

Sleigh, who joins from management consultancy Accenture and is an old Asia hand of seven years’ experience, will oversee plans to double the size of the group’s Singapore workforce to more than 50.

Chief executive Gareth Williams said: “Andy’s experience of developing and executing market strategies across Asia-Pacific for major global organisations will be a huge asset to Skyscanner.”
