Sky chief’s £7m pay package
BSkyB chief executive Jeremy Darroch received more than £7 million in pay, bonuses and share awards last year, according to the company’s annual report.
Former chairman James Murdoch, who stepped down in April amid the phone-hacking scandal, received a salary of £89,417.
Darroch’s total remuneration for the year to the end of June rose 7 per cent to £2.98m, on top of £4.32m of shares as part of an incentive plan.
