'Significant interest' in Reader's Digest

THERE is "significant interest" in buying the UK edition of Reader's Digest magazine, which will continue to be published until at least next month, administrators have said.

Philip Sykes, at administrator Moore Stephens, was called in last month when US parent Reader's Digest Association said it was no longer able to support its UK division following a crisis in its pension fund.

Reader's Digest has 117 staff in the UK and sells 465,028 copies.
