Seeking young entrepreneurs

A COMPETITION aimed at unearthing Scotland's best young investors and innovators is getting under way this week. Entries are now open for the annual John Logie Baird awards, which include a category for inventors under the age of 30. The awards are run by business support organisation The GO Group, to find the best of Scotland's invention and innovation talent.

The judges are looking for originality, entrepreneurial ability, market potential and the ability to develop the idea. The best commercially viable ideas will be offered workshops providing support and information on patents, prototypes and product development.
