Scottish Friendly’s online sales surge

Scottish Friendly, the country’s largest mutual society, has reported a 25 per cent rise in online sales to £1.2 million since re-launching its website in May.

The firm said it had noticed an increase in traffic from partner websites, including Quidco, JuicyCashback and Emma’s Diary.

The company’s new site was created by Line Digital.

Jill Mackay, electronic-marketing manager at Scottish Friendly, said: “It is encouraging to see people thinking carefully about setting something aside for the future.”
