Scott becomes Aegon HR chief

INSURER Aegon UK has appointed Gill Scott as human resources director, replacing Sandy Begbie who left to join Standard Life.

Scott, previously head of HR at the life and pensions division, has been a member of the HR leadership team at the Edinburgh-based company since 2005. A graduate of Edinburgh's Napier University, she joined Scottish Equitable (now Aegon) in 1991 and has held a series of management roles across the business including customer services, training and development, change management and employee benefits. Since joining the HR team she has led a number of organisational change programmes.
