Scots timber specialist branches out with home office brand
The James Donaldson Group has unveiled Buzz Home Office, which is harnessing increased demand for such services due to the rise in home working and studying amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The fast-tracked new division offers three flexible and fully customisable core ranges, comprising Buzz Hive, a range of space-saving units for adults and kids, delivered pre-assembled; Beespoke, a made-to-measure offering for those with limited space; and Home Hive, a bespoke range designed to transform a dedicated room into a home office. All three ranges are available in a vast selection of colours and woodgrains.
The Beespoke and Home Hive ranges are supported by the Buzz Home Office design service, for customers or trade partners looking for a tailored, made-to-measure home office option.
The James Donaldson Group chief executive Andrew Donaldson hailed the launch of the new brand, saying innovation has always been “central” to the organisation's vision. He added: “Everyone has faced unprecedented challenges over the last year and as a team we were eager to create products that would support the new normal and flexible ways of working.”
The group, which started life in 1860, last summer announced its revised senior team, representing the sixth generation of the family to run the business. Brothers Andrew and Michael Donaldson took over as chief executive and chairman respectively as the business celebrated its 160th anniversary, in what it said was a “momentous” year for the group.
