Scots social network KILTR plans New York launch

KILTR, the Scottish social network backed by former enterprise minister Jim Mather and Par Equity founder Paul Atkinson, will next week unveil the second version of its website as part of the “Scotland Week” promotional events in New York.

The preview – which is being supported by brands including Harris Tweed Hebrides, pictured, Linn Music Systems and the Rockness music festival – comes ahead of version two’s official launch on 16 May. KILTR appointed Atkinson and Mather as non-executive directors in October to help grow the technology business in overseas markets.
