Scots are failing to get the benefits

SCOTS are less likely than workers elsewhere in the UK to take up benefits offered by their employer, according to new research.

A Vebnet survey of employees offered flexible benefits found that just 16 per cent in Scotland take up the option of private medical insurance – half the UK average – while 5.5 per cent take up personal accident insurance, compared to 11.5 per cent across the UK. It also found that employees in Scotland are the least likely in the UK to use their flexible benefit plan
