Gib Bulloch founded the Craigberoch Business Decelerator on Bute in 2019. The “social intrapreneur” founded and scaled Accenture Development Partnerships and is the author of The Intrapreneur: Confessions of a Corporate Insurgent.

The upcoming Reset 2021 virtual gathering aims to guide participants to “refresh, recharge and reinvent their futures” through a series of interactive sessions.

Bulloch said: “We’ve had a wake-up call in recent times about the need to change how we live and work. But rather than diving back into the same old in the new year, as we so often do, try switching it up by stepping back.

“We’re so busy doing what we’re doing that we’ve lost track of where we’re going. Through our programmes, we hope to show business leaders how accelerating change starts with slowing down.”

He added: “We need to create a movement of professional changemakers, reinventing our workplaces and influencing our futures – a movement that is now even more important in the wake of Covid.”

Craigberoch has run a series of both physical and, more recently, online events, attracting a wide range of business professionals from around the world.

The rural and idyllic landscape of the Isle of Bute and Scotland’s rich heritage of innovation is said to provide the “perfect backdrop” for these events.

Diversity of thinking is a core component of the decelerator and Craigberoch is also keen to attract participants from as wide a range of backgrounds and ages as possible.
