Savjani to head Swip’s risk arm

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) yesterday named Bindesh Savjani as its new director of risk.

He will join the Edinburgh-based firm in November and will report directly to Swip managing director Dean Buckley. Savjani joins the firm from Aviva Investors where he worked for ten years, most recently as global chief risk officer.

Buckley said: “This [appointment] will be important to us as we deliver on our ambitious plans for future growth within a robust risk management framework.”
