Saracen turns over a new Leaf

A FORMER head of investments at Bank of Scotland has joined Glasgow-based Saracen Fund Managers as an executive director.

Daniel Leaf, who ran investments for the bank's portfolio management service, will help to grow the business alongside Graham Campbell, who was last week appointed as Saracen's chief executive.

Leaf spent almost 25 years in institutional stock broking where he was a managing director at Deutsche Bank and subsequently set up an Edinburgh office for Teather and Greenwood.

Campbell said: "We need people of the highest calibre to build the business and we are all delighted to welcome Daniel to Saracen.

"Daniel's vast experience in both wealth management and institutional markets will prove invaluable as we implement our expansion plans."
