Salmon specialist Loch Duart reels in prestigious accolade

The Sutherland-based firm is one of nearly 60 Scottish small and medium-sized businesses on the list.

Mark Warrington, MD of Loch Duart, welcomed the “huge honour”. He added that the firm aims to produce the highest quality salmon with the lowest possible environmental impact, rearing every salmon to RSPCA assured and Label Rouge standards.

Warrington added: “We look forward to growing our business while continuing with the same, welfare-friendly, small-scale farming methods we’ve been using for over 21 years.”
