Ryden moves HQ after 25 years in capital base

Property consultancy Ryden is upping sticks after 25 years on Edinburgh’s North Castle Street having signed a lease for space in the heart of the capital’s bustling business district.

The firm said that all 45 staff in the city would be relocating to the ground floor of 7 Exchange Crescent, Conference Square later this month. Among its new neighbours will be Shepherd & Wedderburn, Morrisons, Colliers, Logic Now and Pure Gym.

Partner Peter I’Anson, who handled the negotiations, said: “We selected Exchange Crescent from a number of short-listed options to provide a high-quality space from which to develop our business.

“Moving from a townhouse to a single level will mean collaboration on projects is easier and we will be closer to our clients, friends and fellow professionals, while maintaining on-street presence at our new office.”

Ryden has five offices, 34 partners and some 110 staff.
