RSM Tenon team lured by Mazars

Mazars, the accountancy firm, has hired eight of the partner team of the former RSM Tenon office in Edinburgh.

Margaret Laidlaw, Laura Clarkson, Brian Hay-Smith, Keith Marshall, Fiona Martin, John Mcleod, Liz Ritchie and Kevin Windram are the latest to join Mazars after seven made the switch to its east Midlands office.

Mazars’ Scottish managing partner, Peter Jibson, said: “On the back of our recent performance we have built a strong sense of momentum in Scotland.”

Laidlaw said: “Mazars is a great fit for us. We’re happy we’ve made the decision to move.”

Following its collapse into administration in August, RSM Tenon was acquired by Baker Tilly.
