Robertson locks in deal with Scottish prisons

Robertson Facilities Management has secured a key contract with the Scottish Prison Service that will see the firm provide cleaning services at five prisons and the SPS College.

The contract runs for an initial three years with an option to extend for a further three, the company said yesterday. It will provide cleaning and window cleaning to sites from Glasgow to Peterhead.

Ian Gibson, managing director, said: “This is a great result for Robertson. Our bid was focused on delivering quality work and it was on that basis we were selected.

“The contract is an excellent opportunity for growth and we have recruited a dedicated cleaning manager – a first for Robertson Facilities Management.”

The wider Robertson Group is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned infrastructure firms.
