Rider to join Shepherd Neame

Brewer and pub operator Shepherd Neame has appointed Mark Rider as finance and IT director.

He will join in January after leaving supermarket chain Sainsbury’s, where he has been head of finance, food, since 2008. Rider joined Sainsbury’s in 2001 and has held a number of senior finance roles. Before joining the retail giant he qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC.
