Regeneris plugged in with sales surge

REGENERSIS, one of Scotland’s largest electronics employers, yesterday said that it expected to report double-digit rises in sales and operating profits for the first half of its financial year.

The gadget repair specialist said its UK business, which employs more than 1,000 staff in Scotland across sites at Glenrothes and Inchinnan, had seen a significant improvement in profitability due to cost cutting and restructuring carried out in 2011.

The company, which repairs mobile phones, laptops, set-top boxes, iPods and satellite navigation systems, has also secured a number of contracts in recent months with customers including HTC, Nokia and Virgin Media.
