Pyramids for sale - but not in Egypt

What is arguably Scotland's most distinctive business park has been put on the market by its current owner.

The Pyramids Business Park, which is renowned for its grassy pyramid structures flanking the M8 motorway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, is up for sale at offers in excess of 15 million.

Accommodation on the Central Belt site - home to HM Revenue and Customs - extends to more than 360,000sq ft across 93 acres. Those marketing the park are highlighting the "excellent on-site amenities", which include conference facilities, a restaurant, crche and gym.

Kenny Waitt at Jones Lang LaSalle, which is managing the sale on behalf of Henderson Global Investors, said: "The Pyramids is an excellent investment opportunity. With a prime location on the M8 corridor, the park is an attractive business location."
