PwC heads to new base in Edinburgh

ONE of Edinburgh’s newest office developments has reached 50 per cent occupation after an accountancy giant agreed a deal to take an entire floor.

PwC will relocate to Atria Edinburgh from its existing office on the city’s Queen Street by the spring. The letting, for some 32,000sq ft, is one of the largest this year and is a further boost to a slowly-recovering office property market.

Investment manager Brewin Dolphin and the Green Investment Bank have already confirmed their moves into the landmark building, which lies adjacent to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. Atria was developed and funded by the city council with part-funding from Scottish Enterprise.

Paul Brewer, senior partner at PwC in Edinburgh, said: “We’ve had a presence in Edinburgh for over 40 years and this move to Atria will further cement our commitment to the city.”
