The start-up created a forensic data search platform to help discover fraud and PwC already used the technology for its “early warning” Radar system, which allows the firm’s clients to manage a broad range of risks including financial, regulatory, compliance and reputational.

Andrew Gordon, deals partner and business unit leader for forensics at PwC, said: “This is an important acquisition for us. Kusiri provides a forensic search technology platform to financial institutions and professional services. It aligns with our desire to put technology at the forefront of what we do.”

After setting up Kusiri, White went on to co-found, which helps users harvest data from the web.
