£1.4m training deal for EnerMech

ABERDEEN firm EnerMech's training division has secured a contract worth some £1.4 million to provide trainers and assessors for international oil and gas contractor Saipem.

The company's health and safety experts will support Saipem staff on construction, pipe-laying and drilling projects around the world.

EnerMech's Phil Caton said: "Since we started working for Saipem in 2006 the relationship has grown in tandem with our expertise in being able to provide a broad range of safety and competency training on a global basis."
