Progress builds for Havelock

HAVELOCK Europa, the Fife-based shop and classroom fit-out business, yesterday said it was continuing to make “encouraging progress”, writes Perry Gourley.

Outgoing chairman Malcolm Gourlay told the group’s AGM that orders received during the current financial year showed an increase on the same period last year, with business being won in both the commercial and educational sectors.

“Activity levels continue to grow, particularly outside the UK. Our efforts to win new business continue and we are confident that these efforts will convert into further activity in the future,” he said.

Following the completion of the sale of Showcard Print in April, the company’s debt levels have reduced significantly. Shares were unchanged at 10.12p.
