Police probe £1bn HBOS fraud claims

A POLICE investigation into an alleged £1 billion fraud at HBOS will reportedly not be extended to include senior executives.

Thames Valley Police and the Serious Organised Crime Agency are investigating the former HBOS impaired assets arm in Reading after allegations that the unit forced clients to use adviser Quayside Corporate Services to get funding. Thames Valley Police did not return calls for comment yesterday.
