Plexus’s £800,000 Centrica contact

Engineering firm Plexus has won an £800,000 contract to supply its wellhead technology and services for oil and gas exploration activities in the North Sea.

The Aim-quoted firm, which is based in Aberdeen, said revenues from the contract with energy giant Centrica were expected to commence in the first quarter of 2012.

Boss Ben Van Bilderbeek said: “Centrica is a highly valued customer and we are delighted that the company continues to appreciate the technical performance and cost saving benefits of our technology.”
