Pinnacle bags IMG golf contract

Global sports and media business IMG Group has awarded Pinnacle Telecom Group a contract to supply the voice and data network for the Women's British Open, which takes place at Carnoustie in July. The value of the contract is undisclosed. The award comes after the successful completion of contracts to handle telecoms for the BBC's coverage of the UK local elections and the Radio 1 Big Weekend concert featuring Lady Gaga.

Alan Bonner, chief executive of Pinnacle, said he was "delighted" to win business from the "world-class" IMG.
