Perthshire collaboration call as business tourism group is reborn

Some of Perthshire's key venues and events businesses have come together to help formally relaunch a business tourism group for the region, writes Scott Reid.

Current members, including Gleneagles, Perth Racecourse and Blue Sky Events, joined Perth & Kinross Council and industry leaders to celebrate the event at the Hilton Dunkeld.

The relaunch of Perthshire Business Tourism Group has been backed with support from VisitScotland and the local council – where it will be closely linked to the aims of the wider Perth city plan.

Local firms are being encouraged to join the group, which will directly target the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions markets. Members will benefit from a presence on a new dedicated website and also feature in targeted newsletters.
