Peppa Pig company seeking £11.6m

Entertainment One, the rights holder of hit children's series Peppa Pig, is launching a rights issue to raise at least £11.6 million to fund acquisitions.

The company yesterday said it was "actively considering a range of small, earnings-enhancing acquisition opportunities".

It added: "Whilst there can be no certainty that these acquisitions will proceed to completion, the company is proposing to issue up to eight million new shares at a price of no less than 145p per share pursuant to a placing to certain institutional investors."
