Pedersen takes helm at Pelamis

MARINE energy firm Pelamis Wave Power has hired Per Hornung Pedersen, the former boss of German wind turbine manufacturer REpower Systems, as its chief executive.

The appointment is a major coup for Edinburgh-based Pelamis, which recently laid off a third of its workforce as it moved from a manufacturing focus to an operational phase.
