Three-time Olympian and double Commonwealth champion Carry retired after London 2012 when he moved into the world of corporate coaching and leadership.

He said: “Our team of eight specialists has the combined experience of 15 Olympic games behind it, so we really do offer the highest level of coaching and guidance.

“Keri-anne and I come from a swimming background, but we also have Olympian and world record-holding cyclist Jess Varnish on board. As well as athletes we have Scott Gardner, a cycling coach and performance scientist to eight Olympic gold medalists, Team GB’s Kate Jordan, and head physiotherapist for the British triathlon team Emma Deakin.”

Carry added: “The retreats are tailored for customers’ specific goals and needs and take place across the world. This year alone we will be going to Aberdeen, San Francisco, Abu Dhabi and St Lucia.”

The firm has been established with funding from Clydesdale in a deal facilitated by relationship anager Kevin Thomson.

John Brebner, head of the Edinburgh customer banking centre, said: “Clydesdale Bank is proud to support David and Keri-anne to set up their business.
