Off the road: Sports car maker Lotus reveals jobs cull

Sports car manufacturer Lotus has told staff up to 99 jobs could be cut at its UK plant. Chief executive Dany Bahar said there was 'a need to reduce headcount in a number of areas of the business'. But a spokesman yesterday said a restructuring could lead to fresh recruitment in the near future
