Norway's PTC builds up Scots presence

A NORWEGIAN oil and gas technology firm has expanded its operations in Scotland, which it sees as a "key strategic hub" for its ambitious plans to treble turnover to £30 million.

PTC, which designs and manufactures equipment for oil wells, has opened a 6,400 square foot workshop and loading area at Wellheads, Dyce, and added three specialist staff to its research and development team based in Aberdeen, increasing its headcount in the city to 11.
