NHS Scotland staff to get 1 per cent pay rise
The Scottish Government said doctors, dentists and all other NHS staff will see an increase in their take home pay from 1 April, while staff earning under £22,000 will increase their pay by at least £400.
Dr Peter Bennie, chair of BMA Scotland, said the rise was only “a small step” towards recognising the challenging situation faced by staff.

Hide AdThe changes, recommended by the NHS Pay Review Body and Doctors’ and Dentists’ Pay Review Body (DDRB), represent the third consecutive year staff have received a pay rise.
Pay for GPs and dentists will also increase by one per cent.
