New Pinnacle for Allan's outfit

PINNACLE Telecom, the Paisley-based communications company chaired by former Thus chief executive Bill Allan, has made an operating profit for the first time after turnover more than doubled.

In the 12 months to 30 September revenue rose to 6.6 million from 3.2m after the company won contracts at major events including the Chelsea Flower Show. Operating profits for the full year of 78,647 compared to a loss of 582,816 previously and pre-tax losses fell to 268,564 from 895,165. Shares closed down 12.6 per cent at 0.42p.
