New legal counsel named at Scotch whisky trade body
O’Donnell, a graudate of the University of Glasgow, joins the trade body from law firm Maclay Murray & Spens, where she was a senior solicitor in the commercial dispute resolution team.
She said: “I’m delighted to join the SWA to work with the team to contribute to the protection of Scotch whisky around the world.”

Hide AdThe SWA legal team is led by Alan Park, who was recently promoted to director of legal affairs following the retirement of Magnus Cormack. It also includes two senior legal counsel – Kenneth Gray and Lindesay Low – O’Donnell’s fellow legal counsel Andrew Swift and paralegal Dawn Bellamy.
