New director for business crime unit

MANDY Haeburn-Little, the former head of communications for the troubled Edinburgh tram project, has landed a new job as executive director of the Scottish Business Crime Centre (SBCC).

She replaces Alan Dobie, who will retire in September. The not-for-profit body, a partnership funded by the police, the CBI and the Scottish Government, was set up in 1996 to reduce business crime. Kenneth Russell, chair of the SBCC, said: "She has a strong skills set and has a broad range of experience to help the development of the centre."
