New contracts raise Plexus earning £200k

PLEXUS Holdings, the Aberdeen oil and gas company, has booked a steady rise in interim profits helped by fresh contract wins.

Releasing results for the six months to the end of December, the Aim-listed firm said earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose to 1.4 million from 1.2m a year earlier.

Iain Macarthur, an analyst at brokerage Cenkos, which has a "buy" rating on shares in Plexus, said: "Plexus owns patented wellhead technology, Pos-Grip, which is particularly in demand for use in hostile well environments."
