NCC acquires Axzona in £1.7m deal

A WEBSITE monitoring business based in Edinburgh has been snapped up in a deal worth up to £1.7 million, it was announced yesterday.

London-listed NCC Group said it was paying 1.2m to acquire Axzona, with two further payments of up to 500,000 in total. NCC said it expected to benefit from the "complementary monitoring technology" developed by Axzona, which was set up in the summer of 2000.
