Murgitroyd benefits from US and Japan

American and Japanese demand for European patent law services helped specialist legal firm Murgitroyd grow turnover by 13 per cent to £33.2 million in the year to 31 May. Operating profit was up 7.2 per cent to £4.13m.

The Glasgow-based company proposed a final dividend of 7.25p per share, giving a total dividend for the year of 10.75p, up from 10p last time.
