Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events has appointed sales specialist Stephanie Lee to the new role of sales and revenue manager. The position has been created following Sodexo’s recent success in securing a five-year extension to its contract with the famous capital site.

UK recruitment firm Munro has hired Nicola Dunn in a newly created role of senior researcher. A successful business and life coach who has supported a range of international clients including the EU Commission and The Hague, Dunn also has direct executive search experience, working with former Edinburgh-based agency Quantum where she specialised in marketing sector recruitment. Her new role will be based at Munro’s head office in Edinburgh.

Business angel syndicate Archangels has appointed former Baillie Gifford partner Michael MacPhee to its board of directors. Having been called to the English Bar in 1987, MacPhee joined Baillie Gifford in 1989 and became a partner in 1998. He instigated investment in Latin America during the 1990s, headed the firm’s European department from 2003 to 2008 and thereafter co-managed a global investment strategy. From 1998, until his retirement from the firm in 2014, he was the manager of Mid Wynd International Investment Trust.

BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed David Simpson as director and head of property management for Scotland. Simpson joins from Cushman and Wakefield, where he was a partner for nine years. Prior to that he headed the property management team in Scotland at Drivers Jonas before its takeover by Deloitte.

Holyrood PR in Edinburgh has made two new additions to its line up while a series of internal promotions have also helped strengthen the staff profile. Consumer PR expert Ainsley Piggott has joined the public relations agency as an account manager and will be working on clients as diverse as luxury housebuilder Cala Homes and Musselburgh Racecourse. Meanwhile Kenny Murray has been appointed to lead Holyrood PR’s burgeoning digital services. He joins from Weber Shandwick where he spent two years on the digital front.
