Morgan Ashurst wins £7.8m school deal

GLASGOW-based construction company Morgan Ashurst yesterday won a £7.8 million contract to build a school in Fife.

Dunfermline East primary school is being touted as "one of the greenest in Scotland" and will feature a "combined heat and power engine" to warm the school and provide electricity.

Wind turbines will be fitted to the building, along with a system to harvest rainwater.
