Millions risk all by writing down their Pin

MILLIONS of people put themselves at risk of fraud by keeping a written note of their Pin. Consumer group Which? estimated that four million debit card holders and three million credit card holders in the UK risk their magic number falling into the wrong hands by writing it down and, for example, keeping it in their handbag or wallet.

Cardholders who fail to keep their Pin secure may not receive compensation from their card provider in the event of credit or debit card fraud.
