McKellar to leave Moredun institute

PROFESSOR Quintin McKellar, chief executive and scientific director of the Moredun Foundation and Moredun Research Institute, will leave next year to become principal of the Royal Veterinary College, London.

A graduate of Glasgow Veterinary School, he also holds a PhD and DVM and until 1997 was Professor of Veterinary Pharmacology at Glasgow University.

Professor Sir James Armour, chairman of the Moredun Foundation, said: "He has made a tremendous contribution. We regret his departure, but wish him well."
