McCarthy jumps ship to join PWC

Keith McCarthy, chief investigator at the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), is to leave his post to join “big four” accountancy firm PWC, it emerged yesterday.

McCarthy, who is also an executive board member at the SFO, will join the firm on New Year’s Day.

Andrew Gordon, head of forensic investigations at PWC, said: “Keith is a well-respected figure at the SFO who will add tremendous value and insight to regulatory issues affecting our clients and to the numerous types of investigations we undertake more broadly across the UK and internationally.”
