The firm, founded by Claire and Alan Kinloch three years ago, said its “significant” growth plans follow a 73 per cent jump in turnover over the past 12 months.

Genoa Black is currently based at Solsgirth in Perth & Kinross, with other offices in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, and employs 11 people. It plans to move to new headquarters in the Central Belt on the back of its target to add nine new positions, ranging from graduate level to director.

Managing director Claire Kinloch said: “Graduates have been an invaluable part of Genoa Black’s growth and we are passionate about investing in the next generation of marketing experts.

“As we continue to grow, it is exciting to now formalise this ethos into a programme that will attract a new wave of talent. There is also a significant opportunity for development across the existing highly valued and committed team, as well recruiting for an additional nine new roles over the next 18 months.”

Genoa Black, which was recently named professional services adviser of the year at the HSBC Export Awards, counts Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre, oil and gas services company Corex and shortbread maker Dean’s among its clients.
