Mackie's plays it cool with retro ice cream tubs
The family-run firm began farming in 1912 and now employs 68 people on its Aberdeenshire farm, including five who have been with the business since it made the move into ice cream in 1986.
Marketing director Karin Mackie said: “Our traditional ice cream is often described as a taste of childhood – so we thought it would be fun to enjoy a little nostalgia by bringing out these vintage tubs.

As part of a £6m investment programme, Mackie’s – which has enjoyed strong demand for its products in South Korea and Taiwan – has also developed a new chocolate factory on its farm.
