Low & Bonar issues an upbeat update

Low & Bonar, the floorings maker which has its roots in Dundee, said yesterday that demand for its products remains robust and it expects to deliver “substantial progress” this year.

In an interim management statement, the firm said profits would be in line with expectations, as its transport division continues to benefit from a recovering trailer market.
