Loch Lomond Shores strong early-summer footfall figures

LOCH Lomond Shores has recorded the highest early-summer footfall figures since the attraction opened more than a decade ago.

The shopping centre and visitor complex at Balloch, West Dunbartonshire, welcomed more than 210,000 visitors in May and June this year, 14,000 more than the same period in 2012, which also broke records. Retailers at the complex have also reported strong trading for the two-month period.

Last year, Loch Lomond Shores, which opened in 2002, was ranked the second most-visited free visitor attraction in Scotland with some 1.13 million people passing through the site.
